After 28 years with the National Center for Mental Health (N.C.M.H.), Dr.
Gadi has retired from government service at the age of 65. But she
decided to continue her medical practice and run her own private clinic at
a convenient location in Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City.
Dr. Evangeline Gadi has handled hundreds of psychiatric cases which she
was managing different pavilions during her practice at NCMH. Even after
her retirement from N.C.M.H., current patients of Dr. Gadi still seek her
for her intervention and advice of their personal concerns.
The previous patients of Dr. Gadi (while she was still a residing doctor in
the N.C.M.H.) are happy to have their concerns and personal problems
resolved through therapy and medication. These patients have
maintained the doctor-patient relationship with Dr. Gadi.
After Dr. Gadi passed the doctor's board exams, she landed a job from
the N.C.M.H. as a resident doctor; and at the same time continuing her
specialization in psychiatry.During her service in the N.C.M.H. she got
promoted to several positions until she became the head of Pavilion 5 or
the Women's ward until her retirement. There, she oversaw the health of
her patients; while managing her staff of nurses and social workers.
Dr. Gadi is currently holds a professional diploma (diplomate) from the
Philippine Board of Psychiatry and a Fellow of the Philippine Psychiatric
Association (P.P.A.).
She regularly attends scientific meetings and seminars on new drug
treatments with her former colleagues from the N.C.M.H. With her
continuing training in the field of psychiatry, Dr. Gadi is abreast with the
latest trends, medications and therapy.
